Team Lead - Talent Acquisition

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Team Lead for Talent Acquisition to head our recruitment function across multiple markets, including Australia, Nepal, Thailand and Taiwan. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape hiring strategies, build talent pipelines and ensure our recruiters deliver high‑quality hires aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a talent acquisition team of 15‑20 recruiters and trainees.
• Set team goals, KPIs, hiring targets and performance expectations; conduct coaching, performance reviews and development planning.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable and high‑performance recruitment culture, driving productivity, engagement and retention.
• Identify skill gaps and implement continuous learning initiatives for the team.
• Design and execute recruitment strategies that support business growth in Australia and assigned international markets.
• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce planning, hiring requirements and align recruitment activities with organisational objectives.
• Analyse talent market trends, provide recommendations and build talent pipelines for critical and future hiring needs.
• Oversee recruitment delivery for Australia‑based positions, ensuring compliance with local practices and market trends.
• Design and deliver onboarding and training programmes for new recruiters and trainees, covering candidate sourcing techniques and interview best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and scaling recruitment teams.
• Strong partnership building skills with hiring managers and business stakeholders.
• In‑depth knowledge of Australian recruitment practices, market trends and compliance requirements.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate workforce plans into actionable hiring strategies.
• Excellent coaching, performance management and talent development capabilities.
