Team Leader – International Student Counseling

About the role

AECC is a global education and migration agency helping students secure placements at partner universities worldwide. The Team Leader will guide students and parents through the full application journey, from course selection to visa acquisition, ensuring smooth enrolment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed profile assessments of students interested in studying abroad and advise on suitable courses, universities and scholarships.
• Manage the end‑to‑end application process, coordinating with universities, internal teams and external stakeholders to secure offers and fee payments.
• Support students and parents with travel, finance and compliance arrangements for the chosen destination.
• Resolve queries and issues that arise during the application and enrollment phases.
• Maintain accurate lead and pipeline data, reporting weekly to the Country Manager and meeting visa‑grant targets.
• Mentor and lead the counseling team through regular pipeline meetings to achieve individual and collective targets.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of Team Lead experience in a similar industry.
• Vast knowledge of multiple destinations such as Australia, USA, Canada and the UK with an outstanding track record of visa grants.

Required skills

• Excellent organisational skills to deliver reports and feedback from all marketing initiatives in a timely and informative manner.
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal.
