Tender Officer – IT Equipment

About the role

The company is seeking a proactive Tender Officer to manage and coordinate government, corporate and institutional tenders for computers, laptops, IT equipment and accessories. The role involves identifying opportunities, preparing documentation and ensuring timely, accurate bid submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Search, identify and monitor relevant tenders for IT hardware and accessories.
• Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications and commercial requirements.
• Prepare complete tender packages, including technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with Sales, Technical, Finance and Management teams for pricing, specifications and approvals.
• Obtain product specifications, quotations and authorization letters from suppliers.
• Prepare comparative statements, costing and bid‑related documentation.
• Submit bids through online portals or physical channels before deadlines.
• Maintain records of submitted tenders, quotations, securities and outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience handling tenders, preferably in the IT or technology trading sector.
• Good understanding of government and institutional procurement procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
