UK Education Counselor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced UK Education Counselor to guide Nepalese students through the entire process of studying in the United Kingdom. The role involves advising on university selection, application preparation, visa procedures, and pre‑departure support.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel students on UK study options based on academic background, career goals, and preferences.
• Provide accurate information on UK universities, courses, entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and intake periods.
• Assist students in selecting suitable programmes and preparing application documents, SOPs, and personal statements.
• Guide applicants through UK student‑visa requirements, documentation, and submission processes.
• Advise on English‑language test requirements such as IELTS and PTE.
• Maintain regular follow‑up with prospects, manage the counseling pipeline, and track conversions.
• Coordinate with university representatives, internal processing teams, and visa consultants.
• Support students with offer letters, CAS procedures, financial documentation, and pre‑departure preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in UK education counseling or study‑abroad consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of the UK higher‑education system, admissions processes, and visa documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work toward enrollment and conversion targets.
• Organizational and time‑management strengths.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM or student‑management systems.
