Vice Principal

About the role

The Vice Principal will support the Head of Programs and the Principal in leading the academic programme across early childhood, primary and secondary levels at Kopila Valley School. The role focuses on improving teaching quality, student learning outcomes and fostering an inclusive, safe learning environment. It involves data‑driven decision‑making, teacher coaching and collaboration with staff, parents and the BlinkNow Foundation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the academic vision, curriculum implementation and instructional quality across all school levels.
• Use student learning data to identify gaps and coordinate targeted interventions.
• Observe classrooms, provide regular feedback, coaching and professional development for teachers and HODs.
• Oversee assessment systems and ensure alignment with national curriculum and experiential learning goals.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and student‑centered environment that safeguards wellbeing.
• Collaborate with the Principal, coordinators, parents and external partners to continuously improve educational outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in school leadership or senior teaching roles covering early childhood to secondary education.
• Strong ability to analyse data and translate insights into instructional improvements.
• Demonstrated skill in mentoring teachers, conducting observations and delivering professional development.
• Commitment to inclusive education, student voice and holistic development.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
