Xero Trainer

About the role

The Xero Trainer will design and deliver structured training sessions on Xero accounting software for learners of varying experience levels. This full‑time, on‑site position in Kathmandu involves preparing lesson plans, creating training materials, and conducting interactive classes and workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver curriculum covering Xero setup, invoicing, bank reconciliations, reporting and integrations.
• Prepare lesson plans, training exercises, and supporting materials.
• Assess learner needs, provide individualized feedback, and monitor progress.
• Update course content to reflect product changes and best practices.
• Collaborate with the Ottish team to enhance curriculum quality and participate in academic planning.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Xero accounting software and practical business use.
• Solid grounding in accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Demonstrated experience designing curricula and facilitating training.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Education or related field; Xero certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in professional or academic training, preferably in accounting software.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered education.
