Accountant

About the role

CloudFactory is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial requirements. Key responsibilities

• Process vendor and employee payments and maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite.
• Calculate, deduct, deposit, and file TDS and other applicable taxes.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring timely tax compliance.
• Run monthly payroll, keep payroll‑related records, and maintain the fixed‑asset register.
• Perform bank, vendor, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare audit documentation and coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of VAT, TDS, and other tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NetSuite accounting software.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
