Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead and supervise audit engagements from planning through completion. Based in Kathmandu, you will work on‑site with a collaborative team, providing high‑quality assurance services to a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize statutory and internal audits, including risk assessment and audit program design.
• Review financial statements and working papers to ensure compliance with accounting and auditing standards.
• Identify control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations to clients.
• Guide, mentor, and coach audit staff throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Coordinate engagement timelines, maintain clear client communication, and support partner‑level reporting.
• Contribute to practice development and improve internal audit methodologies and quality processes.

Required profile

• Strong command of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Professional qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA; semi‑qualified CA with at least five years of experience acceptable.
• Prior experience in an audit or assurance leadership role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
