Accreditation Officer – Mortgage Division

About the role

The Accreditation Officer – Mortgage Division ensures that all mortgage brokers and support staff are fully accredited and compliant with lender, aggregator and regulatory requirements. This position acts as a central liaison, managing end‑to‑end accreditation processes and supporting regulatory compliance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for accreditation queries from brokers, support staff and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records in the internal CRM and accreditation tracking systems.
• Onboard new brokers, coordinate lender training sessions and track attendance.
• Ensure accreditations align with the NCCP Act, ASIC requirements and lender policies, monitoring expiry dates for PI insurance, ID verification and industry memberships.
• Manage end‑to‑end accreditation and reaccreditation for major banks and non‑bank lenders, validating qualifications, memberships and insurance coverage.
• Conduct regular internal audits, generate audit reports and assist in remediation of non‑conformities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in administration, coordination, compliance support or back‑office roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and documentation.
• Comfortable working in a structured, process‑oriented environment.
