About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Associate to drive revenue growth for our emerging online news platform. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and delivering advertising solutions tailored to the digital news space.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential advertisers, sponsors, and content partners in the digital news space.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, including businesses and organizations interested in advertising.
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of advertising on our platform.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to create compelling promotional strategies and content offerings.
• Track and analyze sales metrics, audience engagement, and market trends to inform business decisions.
• Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the platform and establish connections.
• Provide insights and feedback to management on market trends, audience needs, and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Educational background in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience conducting market research and generating business leads.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Own vehicle for client meetings and outreach.
