Business Development Officer – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Officer to manage and grow relationships with restaurant partners in the hospitality sector. The role combines account management, business development, and field engagement to drive partner satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned restaurant partners, acting as their primary point of contact.
• Monitor account performance, identify growth opportunities, and support partners with promotional campaigns.
• Onboard new restaurant partners through both online and offline prospecting.
• Conduct market research, track competitor activities, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
• Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support to resolve partner issues.
• Communicate updates on promotions, policies, and operational changes to partners.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and prepare regular performance reports.
• Perform field visits and in‑person meetings as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years experience in account management, relationship management, sales or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Personal vehicle and a valid driving licence for regular field visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
