Category Head – E-commerce

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Category Head – E-commerce to lead the growth and profitability of our online product categories. In this senior position you will shape strategy, manage key partnerships and drive performance across the digital shelf.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive category growth strategies.
• Manage vendor and brand relationships, leading commercial negotiations.
• Oversee assortment planning, pricing, merchandising and promotional activities.
• Monitor inventory levels, product availability, sales, margins and overall category performance.
• Analyse market trends, customer demand and competitor actions.
• Identify and onboard new brands and business opportunities.
• Prepare performance reports and deliver actionable insights.
• Lead, mentor and develop the category management team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5–8+ years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, Brand Management or related commercial functions.
• Experience in E‑commerce, Retail, FMCG, Fashion, Beauty, Electronics or Lifestyle sectors.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, commercial and leadership capabilities.
• Customer‑focused and results‑oriented mindset.
