Database Administrator (Cloud & Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to design, implement, and maintain databases across hybrid and cloud environments. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security while supporting migration projects and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and maintain databases in on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud platforms.
• Plan and execute migrations from on‑premises systems to cloud services and between cloud providers.
• Monitor, tune, and optimize database performance, availability, and reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance, backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Implement security controls such as authentication, encryption, auditing, and access management.
• Develop scripts and use cloud tools to automate backups, updates, monitoring, and other routine tasks.
• Collaborate with data architects and IT teams to ensure effective database design and seamless cloud integration.
• Stay current with emerging cloud database technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, and virtual machines.
• Proven experience in database migration, backup, restoration, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Solid understanding of database security, data integrity, encryption, authentication, and access controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize performance.
• Experience automating database administration tasks through scripting.
