Full Stack Engineer – Backend‑Focused MERN Stack

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer who will primarily focus on backend development within a MERN stack environment. The role involves designing robust APIs, optimizing database performance, and collaborating closely with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, implement and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work extensively with MongoDB, handling schema design, indexing and query optimization.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security measures and third‑party integrations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Contribute to React.js development when required.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with the MERN stack, with a strong backend focus.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and solid understanding of API development, database design, JWT/OAuth and Git.
• Working knowledge of React.js.
• Experience with Redis, Docker, AWS or micro‑services is a plus.
