Functional Consultant (On-site, Kathmandu)

About the role

The Functional Consultant will work on‑site in Kathmandu full‑time, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective functional solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current business processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements aligned with organisational goals.
• Gather and document functional requirements, configure and validate solutions, and support implementation activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, coordinate with technical teams, and assist in testing and user training.
• Monitor solution performance, provide post‑implementation support and contribute to continuous process optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders and produce clear documentation.
• Experience in consulting, functional analysis or business‑process improvement, preferably in a client‑facing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu, manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Foundational finance knowledge.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems or ERP solutions.
• Basic project management skills.
