About the role

A reputed organization is seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer to oversee legal documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage risk for the company.

Key responsibilities

Handle legal documentation, agreements, contracts, and correspondence.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Review and draft contracts, legal notices, and other legal documents.
Coordinate with government authorities, legal advisors, and external stakeholders.
Monitor regulatory changes and advise management accordingly.
Support dispute resolution and legal proceedings when required, and maintain proper records of legal and compliance matters.

Required profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
2–5 years of relevant experience in legal and compliance functions.
Strong knowledge of Nepalese corporate and regulatory laws.
Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation, and documentation abilities.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving capability.
