Legal Compliance Officer – Kathmandu

About the role

The Legal Compliance Officer will support the organization by managing legal documentation, ensuring adherence to Nepalese laws and regulations, and providing guidance on contractual matters. This position works closely with internal teams and external authorities to safeguard the company’s legal interests.

Key responsibilities

• Handle legal documentation, contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Draft and review contracts, legal notices, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate with government authorities, legal advisors, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory changes and provide updates to management.
• Support dispute resolution and legal proceedings when required.
• Maintain proper records of legal and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Legal & Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese corporate and regulatory laws.
• Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
