About the role
Gurukul CA is looking for a motivated Library Coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations of its campus library. The role involves supporting students, faculty and staff by managing library resources and maintaining an organized, welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Issue, receive, renew and keep accurate records of books and other library materials.
- Classify, label, shelve and organize books, journals and study resources.
- Assist users in locating physical and digital resources.
- Support procurement, cataloguing and processing of new learning materials.
- Coordinate with academic departments to meet resource needs.
- Help organise library events, reading programmes and educational initiatives.
- Participate in daily administration and operational tasks of the library.
Required profile
- Prior experience in a library, educational institution or similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with basic library management software.
