Operations Manager – International Cargo Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our international cargo operations in Kathmandu. The role focuses on coordinating shipments, supporting customers, and liaising with vendors and global partners to ensure timely and accurate cargo movement.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage shipment bookings with precision and meet deadlines.
• Communicate shipment status, updates, and requirements to customers.
• Coordinate with vendors, operational partners, and international carriers.
• Provide customer and partner support for all cargo‑related inquiries.
• Monitor shipment progress and work with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all bookings and shipments.
• Resolve operational and customer issues promptly.
• Ensure smooth day‑to‑day cargo operations and timely follow‑up.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Previous experience in sales, cargo operations, customer‑facing roles, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of customer service and operational coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
