People & Culture Trainee (HR) – 1‑year Fixed‑Term Traineeship

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is offering a one‑year People & Culture Traineeship for recent graduates. The role provides hands‑on experience in the HR department, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee record management and engagement activities while contributing to the organization’s mission of helping vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate digital staff files and employment paperwork throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Prepare and process onboarding and exit documentation, ensuring 100 % compliance with checklists.
• Assist in the end‑to‑end recruitment process, including scheduling tests, conducting pre‑employment checks and communicating with candidates.
• Support the administration of written assessments and ensure confidentiality of results.
• Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team, including intranet updates and employee inquiries.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Interest in working for an international non‑governmental organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with HR information systems or digital filing processes.
