Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

About the role

TaxMD™ is looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability and accuracy of its AI‑powered tax‑planning SaaS platform. You will focus on validating core workflows, calculation logic, and AI‑driven outputs while collaborating closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute both manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Validate core user workflows, tax calculation accuracy, and AI output quality.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of the web application.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and data engineers to identify defects and drive resolutions.
• Maintain test documentation and report test results to stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives to align testing activities with delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for data integrity.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Ability to understand complex business logic and translate it into test scenarios.
• Effective communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
