Security Supervisor – Hotel

About the role

The Security Supervisor ensures the safety of guests, employees, property and vendors at Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu Naxal. You will create a secure environment through proactive monitoring, coordination with hotel teams and liaison with local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily briefings to inform staff of VIP arrivals, events and specific security risks.
• Patrol guest floors, public areas, parking, perimeter, recreational zones and back‑of‑house areas to identify vulnerabilities.
• Verify that all security equipment is operational and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain professional relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless guest service and safety.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in Nepali and English.
• Minimum two years of security experience, preferably in a hotel of similar size, with supervisory experience.
• Background in Military Police or Armed Police Force is an advantage.
• Ability to handle difficult interactions and work under pressure.
• Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations.
