Senior Procurement Officer – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to lead vendor relationships, sourcing, and purchasing activities for our FMCG business. The role focuses on procuring IT assets, marketing materials, and company merchandise while ensuring cost‑effectiveness and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare proposals, and recommend suitable vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.
• Procure goods and services cost‑effectively while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and internal teams for timely delivery.
• Maintain procurement, pricing, supplier, and payment records.
• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
• Support procurement planning and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Experience procuring IT assets, marketing materials, and company merchandise – preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and deadlines effectively.
