Senior Software Architect

About the role

The Senior Software Architect will lead the design and evolution of enterprise‑scale applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, secure and performant. The role focuses on building microservices‑based systems, integrating AI/ML models and generative AI technologies, and driving cloud‑native development on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee overall software architecture aligned with business goals.
• Architect microservices solutions that deliver high performance and seamless integration.
• Develop AI‑enabled applications, integrating LLMs, generative AI, RAG, vector databases and intelligent automation.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to define model serving, data pipelines and inference services.
• Implement cloud‑native applications using AWS services, containers and API Gateway.
• Establish engineering best practices through code reviews, TDD and coding standards.
• Partner with product, design and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor development teams, provide architectural guidance and drive technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale web applications.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring engineers and conducting technical reviews.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for complex business and technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for continuous learning in AI, cloud and software architecture trends.

Required skills

• Node.js backend development.
• Frontend frameworks: React or Vue.js.
• Microservices architecture and API design.
• AWS services, containerization and API Gateway.
• AI/ML integration: Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, AI agents.
• Relational and NoSQL databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Version control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
• Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and clean code standards.
