Shift In‑Charge – Hospitality Management (BHM required)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Shift In‑Charge to lead our restaurant operations at The Workshop Eatery in Kathmandu. This full‑time position is ideal for candidates with a BHM background and at least two years of experience in food and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house and kitchen teams during the assigned shift, ensuring high service standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance, providing coaching and feedback.
• Oversee order taking, billing, and cash handling, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene across the dining area and service stations.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to achieve satisfaction.
• Prepare and serve coffee and related beverages as a certified Barista, maintaining equipment and inventory.
• Monitor stock levels, generate requisition orders, and coordinate with the kitchen for seamless service.
• Prepare shift reports (sales, labor, incidents) and communicate them to management.

Required profile

• BHM (running or completed) qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the food & hospitality industry.
• Fluency in English and Nepali; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and switch between shifts.
