Software QA Engineer 2

About the role

The Senior Software QA Engineer will lead testing activities for healthcare technology solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery in an Agile environment. This role focuses on risk assessment, QA documentation, and continuous improvement of testing methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test cases.
• Define and maintain master test plans that outline the overall testing strategy.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios for both manual and automated testing.
• Perform defect identification, documentation, tracking, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Execute validation scripts, document results, and maintain QA artifacts such as test plans and execution reports.
• Analyze test outcomes, highlight risks, and report quality metrics.
• Conduct risk assessments during test cycles and capture lessons learned post-release.
• Ensure systems meet organizational quality standards and user expectations.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders, communicating test results and issues effectively.
• Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and testing practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to design test plans, test cases, and execute test strategies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
