Sponsorship Trainee – One-Year Fixed-Term Program

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is seeking a motivated Sponsorship Trainee for a one‑year fixed‑term program. The role offers fresh graduates hands‑on experience in child sponsorship operations, supporting both national and field offices while developing professional skills in data management and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Sponsorship department with correspondence, rich‑media uploads, and data entry in the Horizon database.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of sponsorship timelines and ensure compliance with World Vision global quality standards.
• Coordinate with field and area programme teams to facilitate timely flow of sponsor communications.
• Help manage RC data, area programme profiles, and update sponsorship dashboards.
• Provide administrative and logistical support during peak sponsorship periods.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong interest in child welfare and non‑profit operations.
• Ability to understand and follow World Vision’s child sponsorship approach, standards, and mission.
• Willingness to learn sponsorship business processes and data management practices.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with multiple teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Horizon database (programmatic and sponsorship modules).
• Basic data management and entry skills.
• Proficiency in using standard office software for documentation and reporting.
