Technical Support & Network Operations Officer

About the role

We are looking for motivated and technically capable individuals to join our team in technical support and network operations roles. The position will involve supporting internet/broadband services, fiber optic networks, POP operations, customer technical support, troubleshooting, and field/network maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support to customers and resolve basic internet, router, and service‑related issues.
• Perform network testing, troubleshooting, and fault identification.
• Support fiber optic network installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Monitor and maintain POP equipment, power backup systems, and network infrastructure.
• Coordinate with field and technical teams for network maintenance and outage resolution.
• Monitor service issues and ensure timely escalation and follow‑up.
• Maintain technical records, reports, logs, equipment records, and inventory.
• Conduct routine inspections of network/POP sites and ensure proper site conditions.

Required profile

• +2 or Bachelor's degree in IT, Management, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in ISP, telecommunications, networking, technical support, NOC, fiber optics, or field operations preferred; freshers with a technical background may also be considered.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of Internet, broadband, networking, and fiber‑optic technologies.
• Knowledge of POP equipment, UPS, batteries, AC systems, and network racks.
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
