Tour Operator – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Tour Operator to join our team in Kathmandu. This entry‑level, full‑time position is ideal for individuals passionate about travel, customer service, and creating memorable experiences for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and plan seasonal holiday packages based on market demand, customer preferences and travel trends.
• Research and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotels, resorts, tourist destinations and attractions in Nepal and abroad.
• Identify suitable transportation options, negotiate rates and monitor service quality of coaches, buses, airlines and other providers.
• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, coaches, airlines, hotels and tourism partners.
• Prepare and update brochures, itineraries, promotional materials and online travel information.
• Promote holiday packages through travel agencies, websites, social media and other marketing channels.
• Coordinate with travel consultants and agencies to customise packages according to client requirements.
• Collect and act on customer feedback to continuously improve packages and satisfaction.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in a travel agency, tour operations or holiday package planning is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of tourism destinations, hotels and transportation services.
• Ability to create and edit promotional brochures and itineraries.
• Negotiation and supplier‑management capabilities.
