Assistant Marketing Manager – Trade & Brand Strategy

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and results‑driven Assistant Marketing Manager to join our team in Kathmandu. The role focuses on trade marketing, brand strategy, and the execution of B2B/B2C campaigns, primarily within the construction, cement, FMCG, or multinational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing integrated marketing plans, product campaigns, and brand‑building initiatives.
• Coordinate with dealers, distributors, contractors, and retail networks to implement trade schemes, branding activities, and POS/POP deployments.
• Direct creative, digital, and media agencies to produce marketing collateral, DVCs, print media, and promotional materials.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitor activities, track price movements, and analyze consumer behavior to uncover market opportunities.
• Monitor marketing spend, evaluate campaign ROI, and manage regional promotional budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s/MBA in Marketing or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of progressive marketing experience in construction materials, cement, FMCG, or multinational companies.
• Strong knowledge of channel marketing, vendor management, and analytical techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
