Food & Beverage Intern

About the role

The Food & Beverage Intern will support daily operations across the hotel’s restaurant and bar in Lazimpat, Kathmandu. Working on‑site, the intern will assist with service, table setup, and guest interaction, gaining hands‑on exposure to hotel F&B processes. The role is designed to develop professional service, communication, and basic culinary skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist servers with taking orders and delivering food and beverages.
• Set up, clear, and maintain cleanliness of dining and bar areas.
• Support kitchen staff with basic preparation, plating, and inventory checks.
• Respond to guest inquiries and ensure presentation standards.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operation.

Required profile

• Enrollment in or recent completion of hospitality, hotel management, or related studies (preferred).
• Strong customer service orientation and communication abilities.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Flexible availability for shift work and professional grooming standards.
