Account Manager – Telecommunications

About the role

The Account Manager will own the development and expansion of customer relationships within the telecommunications sector, ensuring high satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and expand relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Drive sales operations, create business opportunities and manage the end‑to‑end Lead‑to‑Cash process.
• Coordinate marketing activities, presentations and brand‑building events.
• Resolve customer issues, provide suitable solutions and follow through to closure.
• Collect and analyse market, competitor and customer information and report to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and project departments to deliver acceptable solutions.
• Manage government bidding processes, contract negotiations, project implementation and commercial collections.
• Generate and maintain sales forecasts, pipeline analysis and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in telecommunications or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in telecommunications or a similar sector.
• Proven ability to meet KPI targets and drive revenue growth.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
