Mobile Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Technician to diagnose, repair and test customers’ mobile phones. The role involves verifying reported issues, performing appropriate repairs, and ensuring devices are returned in full working order.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose technical problems reported by customers and confirm their validity.
• Inspect handsets for physical, water, oil or other liquid damage and determine warranty coverage.
• Carry out necessary repairs, replace faulty components and apply appropriate technical solutions.
• Test repaired devices thoroughly before returning them to customers.
• Handle Dead‑on‑Arrival (DOA) cases according to company policies.
• Document technical findings and communicate repair recommendations to the support team and customers.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to verify that diagnoses and repairs are accurate.
• Good understanding of mobile device hardware and warranty policies.
• Customer‑focused attitude with clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to diagnose hardware faults in mobile phones.
• Experience with handset disassembly and component replacement.
• Knowledge of testing procedures to confirm device functionality.
