Business Development Lead – Digital Goods

About the role

The Business Development Lead – Digital Goods will drive growth of our marketplace by identifying new vendor opportunities, expanding product offerings, and strengthening relationships with key accounts. This role combines strategic sales planning with hands‑on account management to increase revenue and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to onboard vendors and broaden the digital goods catalogue.
• Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue and increase market share for marketplace accounts.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with key marketplace accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Lead negotiations with vendors to secure optimal terms, pricing, and service agreements.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including marketing, operations, and customer service—to ensure seamless account management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and negotiation with strong closing abilities.
• Experience managing client and marketplace seller operations and campaigns.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
