Assistant Store Manager – Retail Electronics

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and result‑oriented Assistant Store Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of our electronics showroom. The role involves driving sales, managing inventory, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a professional store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing and running the complete electronics showroom efficiently.
• Achieve daily, monthly and annual sales targets.
• Motivate and supervise showroom sales staff to meet objectives.
• Attend to customers, understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Maintain proper product display, visual merchandising and showroom presentation.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment and keep accurate inventory records.
• Handle customer complaints, service requests and after‑sales issues, coordinating with technical teams.
• Prepare regular sales and performance reports and support promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years experience in showroom, retail sales or electronics/home‑appliance business.
• Previous experience with electronics, home appliances or consumer durables is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of sales, inventory management, product display and customer service.
• Experience managing or supervising a sales team (preferred).
• Good communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office/Excel and basic sales/inventory reporting.
