Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will work full‑time on‑site in Kathmandu, focusing on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the financial services and technology sectors. You will act as a bridge between clients and our AI‑driven software solutions, helping to grow revenue and strengthen long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends, competitors and client needs to generate qualified leads.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and sales collateral tailored to each prospect.
• Maintain accurate records of all business development activities in the CRM.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Provide responsive customer service and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong new‑business development and pipeline‑management skills.
• Analytical ability to interpret market and financial data.
• Foundational understanding of finance and financial services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong presentation abilities.
• Proactive, organized and comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
