Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will expand AujarMart’s supplier network and promote its online platform across Kathmandu Valley. This role combines field‑based vendor outreach with digital marketing to support the company’s rapid growth in the hardware and tools sector.

Key responsibilities

• Travel throughout Kathmandu Valley to meet hardware vendors, wholesalers and suppliers.
• Collect and document product catalogs, rate sheets, minimum order quantities, bulk pricing tiers, discounts and credit terms.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to secure competitive deals.
• Identify new supplier opportunities and maintain an up‑to‑date database of all interactions.
• Prepare regular progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges and market insights.
• Manage AujarMart’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok) and create curated content.
• Design and execute marketing campaigns that drive traffic to AujarMart.com.
• Build a database of potential clients and develop proposals to expand business outreach.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Comfortable with frequent field visits and in‑person meetings.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of accurate data tracking.
• Self‑driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of the hardware/tools market is advantageous.
• Own computer/laptop; two‑wheeler license preferred (fuel allowance provided).
