Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales growth and expand the company’s footprint within the diagnostic and pathology laboratory market across the assigned region. This strategic role combines market analysis, client relationship building, and team leadership to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and analyze market trends to meet regional revenue goals.
• Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team, set performance targets, and conduct regular reviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and diagnostic labs, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Identify potential clients, establish partnerships, and promote diagnostic solutions in collaboration with marketing.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for senior management while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 5–7 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in the laboratory or healthcare sector.
• Proven track record in managing regional sales operations and achieving targets.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare/laboratory market and customer segments.
• Experience in team leadership, sales planning and performance management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region and a valid two‑wheeler driving licence.
