Business Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results‑oriented Business Development Officer to identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a strong sales instinct, capable of managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, meetings, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales reports, and monitor sales performance regularly.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, and negotiate service agreements with clients.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while contributing to overall business growth.
• Identify market trends and client needs to inform business development strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Prior experience in business development, sales, or a similar client‑facing role (mid‑level experience preferred).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
