Business Development Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Officer to drive growth by identifying new B2B opportunities, generating qualified leads, and building lasting client relationships. The role focuses on leveraging LinkedIn, email, and other channels to expand our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new B2B business opportunities.
• Research potential clients and generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email, referrals, and other sales channels.
• Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline.
• Reach out to prospects via LinkedIn messages, emails, and cold calls to schedule meetings.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and service demonstrations.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and business partners.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and excellent customer service.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, or Corporate Sales.
• Proven experience in B2B client acquisition and lead generation.
• Professional and presentable personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience using LinkedIn for prospecting and lead generation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
