Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will work on‑site in Kathmandu to identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities across Suvidha Holding’s diverse service portfolio. The role combines market research, lead generation and client relationship management to drive revenue growth and long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity to inform business strategy.
• Generate, qualify and manage leads, maintaining a structured sales pipeline.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and support contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs.
• Track performance metrics, participate in client meetings and provide timely follow‑up and support.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and market‑research skills with a proven ability to identify opportunities.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities to engage clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated lead‑generation experience and a track record in sales or business development.
• Solid customer‑service orientation to support client retention.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field preferred.
• Experience in B2B services (e.g., staffing, IT, facility management, consulting) and familiarity with the Nepalese and regional markets.
