Creative Script Writer and Content Researcher

About the role

Progress Inc. is looking for a Creative Script Writer and Content Researcher to develop engaging, video‑ready scripts in both Nepali and English. The role involves turning concepts, topics and reference material into compelling narratives while ensuring factual accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complete and engaging scripts from provided ideas, concepts, or content.
• Conduct independent research and gather relevant information when required.
• Convert research findings and source material into clear, interesting, and well‑structured scripts.
• Write creatively in Nepali and English with strong storytelling and narrative flow.
• Prepare scripts in a video‑ready format, including scene and visual cues.
• Identify and suggest suitable images, photographs, illustrations, or other visual references for different parts of the script.
• Travel outside the regular work location when needed for research, information gathering, or content development.
• Research and verify information to ensure factual accuracy.
• Revise and improve scripts based on feedback.

Required profile

• Excellent writing ability in both Nepali and English.
• Strong storytelling imagination and narrative flow.
• Ability to conduct independent research and verify facts.
• Willingness to travel for research or content development purposes.
• Attention to detail and ability to incorporate visual cues into scripts.
