Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the organization, handling invoicing, payment verification, billing, petty cash, and inventory entries. The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify payments and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage billing activities and maintain customer billing records.
• Record and reconcile petty cash transactions.
• Enter and maintain inventory records in the accounting system.
• Assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial documentation.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end accounting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (currently pursuing or completed) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, billing, invoicing, or related finance functions.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
