Junior Sales Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Sales Officer to join our FMCG and meat manufacturing team. The role focuses on field sales across Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) outlets, requiring regular travel and strong relationship building with retailers and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Visit and manage MT and GT outlets on a regular basis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retailers, distributors, and key accounts.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and expand market coverage.
• Identify new sales opportunities through market visits.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper placement at outlets.
• Collect market feedback and monitor competitor activities.
• Coordinate with distributors and internal teams for smooth order and delivery processes.
• Prepare basic sales and field‑visit reports.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, food, or meat manufacturing.
• Freshers with a strong interest in field sales may be considered.
• Willingness to undertake extensive field travel.
• Familiarity with Modern Trade and General Trade channels is preferred.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Target‑oriented, energetic, and self‑motivated.
• Two‑wheeler and a valid driving license preferred/required.
