Sales Consultant – Automotive Batteries

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Consultant to grow our automotive battery distribution network. The role involves developing new customers, maintaining dealer relationships, and achieving sales targets across Dhalkebar and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new customers and expand the battery sales network.
• Visit dealers, distributors, workshops, retailers, and corporate clients regularly.
• Promote and sell automotive batteries and related products.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Generate leads, follow up with potential customers, and prepare quotations and sales orders.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and customers, handling queries, complaints, warranty issues, and after‑sales support.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions to stay competitive.
• Coordinate with warehouse, delivery, and sales teams to ensure timely product supply and payment collection.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in batteries or automotive sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑handling abilities.
• Target‑oriented, result‑driven with good knowledge of the local market.
• Willingness to travel for field sales; two‑wheeler and a valid driving licence preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of customers, sales, and market information.
