Logistics Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Officer to manage procurement, import, and logistics operations, ensuring smooth and timely movement of goods. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents while maintaining accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Handle Telegraphic Transfer (TT) and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and transactions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage import/export documentation and shipping logistics.
• Prepare and maintain Bibini Chalans and other required logistics paperwork.
• Track shipments and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement and logistics activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or import/export operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Purchase Orders, TT, LC, shipping coordination, and Bibini Chalans.
• Strong knowledge of import documentation and logistics procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
