Logistics & Supply Chain Executive

About the role

The Logistics & Supply Chain Executive will oversee procurement, import documentation, and day‑to‑day logistics operations to ensure smooth business flow. This position requires strong organisational abilities, knowledge of supply‑chain processes, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain related documentation.
• Handle Proforma Invoices (PI) and verify accuracy of import‑related paperwork.
• Manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and follow‑up activities.
• Coordinate food‑department requests, approvals, and sample drop processes.
• Plan truck placement and clearance to guarantee timely delivery and dispatch.
• Support end‑to‑end supply‑chain and logistics operations.
• Perform accounting‑related tasks as assigned.
• Draft official letters, government correspondence, and other business documents.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on logistics activities.
• Liaise with internal departments, vendors, transporters, and government authorities.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Knowledge of PO, PI and LC processes.
• Good understanding of supply‑chain management and logistics operations.
• Experience with food‑department documentation is a plus.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Nepali typing (Unicode/Preeti) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to draft official and government letters professionally.
• Strong communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Holder of a valid two‑wheeler licence.
