Optometrist Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Optometrist to join our commercial team as a Sales Executive. You will leverage your clinical expertise to promote and sell optical and ophthalmic products, equipment, and vision‑care solutions to eye hospitals, clinics, and optical retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell ophthalmic and optical products, equipment, and vision‑care solutions.
• Visit eye hospitals, clinics, optical stores, and healthcare institutions to develop business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, optical retailers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain clinical features, applications, and benefits.
• Understand customer and clinical requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Provide product training and basic technical support when required.
• Follow up with existing and potential clients to generate sales and achieve targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, orders, delivery, and after‑sales support.
• Prepare regular sales reports and maintain customer records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or Optometry & Vision Science.
• 2–4 years of experience in optometry, optical sales, medical equipment sales, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of optical products, ophthalmic equipment, and vision‑care solutions.
• Good understanding of optometric and eye‑care practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Target‑oriented and willing to travel for client visits.
• Ability to communicate confidently with doctors, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals.
