About the role

The Restaurant Front Desk Manager leads all front‑desk and guest reception activities at our Kathmandu location. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, accurate reservations, and a welcoming atmosphere for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reservations, guest check‑in/check‑out, and table allocations using digital reservation tools.
• Supervise front‑desk staff, maintain accurate guest records, and enforce front‑of‑house standards, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate seating with the service team to optimize guest flow and dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, phone calls, and messages, resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction.
• Collaborate with restaurant management on promotions, special events, and overall guest experience initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused mindset with a proven record of delivering positive guest experiences.
• Experience in front‑desk or receptionist duties within restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
• Organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities, especially under busy conditions.
• Leadership capability to motivate front‑desk staff and maintain professionalism.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation system software and digital booking tools.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
