Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead revenue generation for rooms and events at Nepali Ghar Hotel in Kathmandu. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on acquiring new business, nurturing existing accounts, and strengthening relationships with corporate, travel, and group clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase room and event bookings.
• Conduct sales calls, site visits, and prepare proposals and contracts.
• Coordinate with reservations, front office, and F&B teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor market trends, analyse performance reports, and manage online and offline distribution channels.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and contribute ideas to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales management with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Strong relationship‑building and client‑management skills, especially with corporate, travel trade, and group accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to analyse sales data, forecast revenue and make data‑driven decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or related field; knowledge of the Kathmandu market is a plus.
